Sen. Marco Rubio pummeled the act of fetus removal Wednesday and lauded the yearly March For Life that happens Friday in Washington, D.C.
"I accept there is no human right more basic and more holy than the privilege to life, and that each and every person is qualified for the assurance of our laws," the Florida Republican said.
"Consistently scores of men and ladies visit our National Mall to gently walk for the privileges of individuals who can't yet walk or represent themselves, incalculable infants who presently can't seem to be conceived. Unfortunately, since the Supreme Court's mistaken choice in 1973, the lives of about 60 million children have been ended, denying them the privilege to life.
"Most by far of these passings were for reasons that had nothing to do with assault, inbreeding, or the life of the mother being jeopardized. This is a monstrosity, and I implore with those social event in Washington this week that it closes soon."
Rubio included he has presented a bill that would close a proviso that permits minors to have a fetus removal without their folks' assent.
"This damages a parent's entitlement to know, and makes it less demanding for hoodlums to conceal assault," Rubio said.
